Men are Less Likely to go to the Dentist

Men are less likely to go to the dentist on a regular basis. Here's just one reason why that matters.

The inflamed gums associated with periodontal disease can increase a person's risk for developing heart disease, for which men already have a higher risk than women. Simply setting appointments with a dentist and taking care of one's teeth by brushing and flossing twice a day may help reduce the risk of that problem.
